FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is there a minimum or maximum team size?
For most games 2 is the minimum and 6 is the maximum, however we would recommend teams of 3-5 as these are the optimum numbers for the games and allow everyone to participate. If you would like to book for larger teams, however, we can accommodate groups of up to 23 people. Just give us a call on our Hotline or on 07584047234 to get booked in and for further information.
Is there an age restriction?
While there is no restriction on age, the puzzles may be too demanding for those under 10. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult as part of the group in the room.
How do I travel to Escape via public transport or on foot?
There are plenty of transport links to Glasgow City Centre, and we are a short 5-10 minute walk from all of the main hubs. We are 0.3 miles from Glasgow Central Station, 0.7 miles from Queen Street Station and 0.7 miles from Buchanan Street Bus Station. Check out this video to see the route to walk from Central Station.
Is Escape accessible?
221B Baker Street: The Scarlet Study and Coming Home are fully accessible, but Demon Barber is only partially accessible, and Witchcraft & Wizardry includes a door that is 62cm wide. We are situated at ground floor level, however there are five stairs to get in the front door to Baltic Chambers. We rely on another business for wheelchair access into the building, so this is only possible during their opening hours — Monday to Friday 9-2 — unless we can give them one week's notice. The best thing to do is to call and get individual advice since we recognise not all disabilities are the same.
I am driving to Escape — is parking available?
We partner with the NCP Glasgow Central Station car park on Oswald Street, so you can park for 2 hours for £6, or for 12 hours for just £8. You can download their ParkPass App and use our SaverID, which we will give you when you come to play your game, to access this great discount. There are other car parks available, and on-street parking, but city centre parking is expensive, so we would recommend this deal — especially if you’re also taking advantage of our other partners and having a meal with the Hard Rock Cafe.
